GLOBAL FESTIVAL 2026
THE WORLD MEETS IN NAKSKOV
September 18-19th · Axeltorv, Nakskov
Global Festival brings two days of music, dance, food, culture, community building, and cross-cultural exchange.
We will celebrate the many nationalities and cultures in our growing multicultural society on Lolland-Falster, as we bring local and international citizens together, welcome our new international residents, connect and learn about one another’s cultures, support integration and a sense of belonging for internationals living in the area, and travel to all corners of the World right in the middle of Nakskov.

5:00 PM – THE LONGEST TABLE
WE CLOSE THE GLOBAL FESTIVAL TOGETHER
At 5:00 pm, we will gather at The Longest Table – a long communal dinner table in the middle of Nakskov.
Here, all festival guests — Danish and international — are invited to dine together around the same table, have informal conversations, and create cross-cultural connections. Delicious grilled food will be available for purchase at the community meal, but guests may also buy food from local restaurants or bring their own.
Together, we will bring the two-day Global Festival to a close with what the festival is first and foremost about:
Connecting and communicating across cultures, nationalities, and backgrounds – creating a stronger global community together.
